Robert Kane, Founder / CEO
Robert is a 25 year veteran of the financial software industry and has founded several successful technology companies. At BondView, he guides the company daily based on the idea that municipal bond professionals and self directed investors need faster, cheaper and better tools to promote smarter decision making. Previously he was at Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan in fixed income and security technology before founding Intrusion Detection Inc., a leading network security company which eventually had the complete Fortune 500 base as customers. Robert lead the company’s sale to publicly traded RSA Security (Nasdaq: RSAS since acquired by EMC). While an executive Vice President at RSA, he managed the senior strategic relationships with the top security industry players including Microsoft, Symantec, Checkpoint, Mcafee. He met regularly w/ Fortune 500 CIOs to gather product feedback. Robert believes that the key ingredient for any successful company is simply giving customers what they want. He is a founding member of New York Angels, co-founder of Reimage.com, a web based PC repair company, a limited partner with two venture capital firms and an investor in several successful technology start-ups. He is both a municipal bond industry investor, columnist and is regularly quoted in the news media.

Craig Charlton , Advisory Board
Craig Charlton has been in the municipal bond industry for 25 years. He began his career in municipal bond insurance at Ambac Assurance Corporation where he served in a variety of executive positions and was a member of the firm’s Senior Municipal Credit Committee. In 1999 he moved to the investment banking side of the municipal market as a Public Finance banker at Fahnestock & Company. He subsequently worked at Commerce Capital Markets, Janney Montgomery Scott, J.P. McGowan & Co. and Duncan-Williams before joining Bondview in 2011.
Walter Grifel, Advisory Board
Walter has been applying quantitative techniques in the financial services and telecommunications industries for over 35 years. He was Vice President at Citigroup for 17 years where he provided technology solutions for the bank’s money transfer, foreign exchange,and telecommunications infrastructures. Walter attended the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and completed PhD course work in Statistics and Operations Research. He also hold BS and MS degrees in Operations Research and Engineering from the Polytechnic University of New York. As an advisory board member at BondView, guides the development of cutting edge ratings and analytical tools for investor and traders in the Municipal Bond industry.
Irv Chasen, Advisory Board
Irv Chasen is a 35 year veteran-management consultant focused on business strategy and key employee recruiting. For 15 years he was a management consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and then partner-in-charge at Grant Thornton. He worked at IBM for six years doing major account management. Irv has been a consultant for organizations including DuPont, State of Georgia, Westinghouse, Intrusion Detection, Networld and others. He has managed company acquisitions and served on corporate boards. Irv holds a BS in Physics / Math from Muhlenberg College and a MS in Physics / Math from Drexel University. He is a Certified Management Consultant.
