Robert Kane, CEO
Robert Kane is a 25 year veteran of the financial technology industry. Mr Kane worked at Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Citibank in the fixed income & technology groups. He is a leading advocate on municipal bond transparency, liquidity assessment and their underlying technologies. He has presented to The Chairman of the Securities & Exchange Commission. His industry comments are published in the U.S. Congressional Record, the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board, the Federal Reserve Board and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. He is frequent media commentator. Mr. Kane moved from Goldman Sachs to found Intrusion Detection Inc., a successful cybersecurity company with much of the Fortune 500 as customers. He lead the company’s growth and engineered its sale to publicly traded RSA Security (Nasdaq: RSAS). As an Executive Vice President at RSA, he managed the strategic security relationships with Google, Apple and other Fortune 100 firms. Robert is a founding member of New York Angels and was an early investor in several successful technology companies.
Jamie Proctor, Business Development
Jamie’s executive career spans 20 years with operating experience across technology and finance. With a background in product development, business development and business operations, he has built leading products and services for startups to Fortune 500 corporations. Most recently, Jamie was the co-founder and COO of Sweigh Inc, a privately held technology enterprise focused on data and analytics. Prior to Sweigh, Jamie spent 10+ years at JPMorgan as a Managing Director in both Treasury & Securities Services and the Corporate & Investment Bank. Jamie’s earlier career was dedicated to sales and business development roles at Salomon Brothers and Bank of New York.
GUS SPATHIS, CTO
An Internet pioneer with over twenty years’ experience in technology, business, and marketing, Gus Spathis has created award-winning solutions for some of the most well-known companies today. Gus was CTO of E-Commerce Solutions, where he created a variety of search engines for companies like Excite, iVillage, The New York Times, Deja.com (Google), About.com, and Palm. Before joining E-Commerce Solutions, Gus was with Partsearch Technologies, where he oversaw the creation of the world’s first consumer-focused comprehensive parts platform – an achievement that increased the company’s negligible revenue to in excess of $20 million in one year. Earlier in his career, Gus led the Poppe-Tyson Interactive team responsible for the architecture and implementation of the real-time broadcast of the 1997 IBM Deep Blue vs. Kasparov chess match. He also worked with various Fortune 100 clients on the design and launch of their sites, including Priceline, Lending Tree, ING Barings, Web Pilot, Dean Witter, Chase, Citibank, the first Internet-based White and Yellow Pages for Yahoo, and one of the first e-commerce sites, RealCounts.

Steve's is Senior VP and Senior Portfolio Manager at Wall Street Access. He manages and trades the partners capital in a custom total return fixed income leveraged format (tax-exempt and taxable municipal bonds, Treasuries, and ETF's. He also maintains an investment management practice at Granite Springs Asset Management, a full services financial firm. Previously he was a Managing Director at the pre-eminent municipal bond industry research firm Municipal Market Advisors (MMA) where he focused on customer interaction for market participants of the daily use of MMA's analysis and market coverage. Mr. McLaughlin has over 22 years of professional municipal bond experience and expertise with proven success managing portfolios, selling, trading and marketing municipal, taxable fixed income and derivative solutions to the Nation's top institutions and ultra high net worth families. Prior to joining MMA, Mr. McLaughlin served a Director and Head of Institutional Municipal Bond Distribution at Bank of New York Capital Markets. Additionally, he has been affiliated with: First Union Capital Markets, New York, as Managing Director of Institution Municipals; Bank One Capital Markets, New York, as Managing Director in Municipal Debt Capital Markets; and JP Morgan, New York as VP of Municipal Capital Markets where he was responsible for cash and derivative solutions distribution.

For 15 years he was a management consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and then partner-in-charge at Grant Thornton. He worked at IBM for six years doing major account management. Irv has been a consultant for organizations including DuPont, State of Georgia, Westinghouse, Intrusion Detection, Networld and others. He has managed company acquisitions and served on corporate boards. Irv holds a BS in Physics / Math from Muhlenberg College and a MS in Physics / Math from Drexel University.
